Late on Friday, Vodafone announced pricing and the opening of pre-orders for the hyped-up Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone.
The Galaxy Nexus is the new flagship device for the Android platform, designed in a partnership between Google and Samsung, and running on the latest version of Android, commonly referred to as Ice Cream Sandwich.
Vodafone opened pre-orders for the device, which will be available in time for Christmas on Friday afternoon. It's offering the device on a range of plans, starting from $5 on a $59 cap over 24 months, and $10 on Vodafone's $65 Infinite plan, also over 24 months.
Optus is also going to be offering the device later this month, according to an Ausdroid report.
