What you have to do today, what you have to pick up at the store--any time you need to make a list, your PDA is a great tool for the job.On any given day, my to-do list might include looking for and checking out specific software, writing reviews, going to meetings, or calling software developers. Of course, not all of my tasks are work related; sometimes, I might also need to pick up something at the store or call one of my friends.
To keep track of the day's tasks, I like to make a list and check off each item as I go along. When at work, I use a notepad program for this task on my computer. But I'm not always at the office.
That's where my PDA comes in handy. Instead of carrying around crumpled bits of paper, I keep my lists on my Palm handheld. Using the right program, I can make up to-do lists quickly and use other handy features to keep me on track throughout the day.
Here are three apps that I like for making my daily to-do and other lists:
SuperList3 lets you assign categories that act as subheadings in your lists to keep them organized. This one comes with sample grocery and vacation lists to get you started. (Shareware/Palm)
SmartList To Go is a comprehensive list-making tool that'll work for daily tasks, contact information, or even tracking collectibles. This one comes with extensive premade templates for just about any kind of list. (Shareware/Palm)
ListPro for Pocket PC is great for to-do lists and tracking collectibles. It also comes with a PC version included in the download so that you can sync up your lists with your desktop computer. (Shareware/Pocket PC)
What do you think? How do you keep track of your to-do list? TalkBack to me below!
