Hackers are expected to release the code to Norton Internet Security in the future, but Symantec seems unworried, and, in the absence of any discovered vulnerabilities, it appears that most security boffins are, too.
Anonymous has released what appears to be the source code from Norton AntiVirus 2006, in what could be a seriously damaging exercise for Symantec.

Symantec has today confirmed that email correspondence between the company and a hacker, in which the company attempted to confirm the theft of its source code and offer US$50,000 to stop it from appearing online, did actually occur.
