The Linksys WRT160N Wireless-N broadband router has consistent performance, good range, a helpful software application, and a good set of networking features. Its lack of gigabit and USB support are the only major knocks against it.
They're big and quite ugly, but there's no doubting that Netgear's WNHDEB111 delivers in the 802.11n speed stakes finally!
The Linksys WRT310N Wireless-N Gigabit Router bears the same sleek, antenna-free design as its sibling the WRT160N, except features a four port gigabit switch. We are a little disappointed at the lack of a USB port, which means it can't act as a print server or easily facilitate network storage. It more than makes up for these lacking features, however, with excellent performance in CNET Labs' testing.
As a basic wireless N kit, the Conceptronic Wireless 300Mbps Broadband Starter pack offers reasonable value, but like so many of its wireless N peers, it still fails to live up to the hype.
