If you want to use Cisco for your corporate IP telephony network but can't afford a 7900 series phone for everyone, it's a no-brainer to check out the lower-specced 6900 series.
Apple made a number of changes to the 24-inch iMac, but making it available at this price is the most impressive. The rest of the updates are welcome, and Apple's multitasking capability remains unmatched.
Fujitsu's netbook offering doesn't really differ much in performance, but redeems itself in design. We still wish it was a touch cheaper, though.
If you took a tank and a tablet notebook, and they had a child, the product would be the NEC ShieldPro N22A. It's just like a tablet, except big, heavy, black and armoured.
Despite the promise of its tiny size, the Maxon Visimax projector is little more than a gimmick, and an expensive one at that.
The HP Compaq 6730b is a reasonable but uninteresting business notebook. Unfortunately the competition and even HP are offering much better systems at a comparative or lower price.
ViewSonic's latest is a great idea, hampered by not so great execution.
The Toshiba USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive is an attractive drive with a decent price. Its size makes it great for travel, but we can't recommend it due to its lack of performance.
The Lenovo A57 is a well-priced office desktop with a strong performance. While very similar to its smaller sibling, the M57e, the A57 offers better performance and upgrade options for a small price increase.
The Dell Vostro range, which comes in both notebook and desktop form factors, is designed for the small business market. We found the Vostro 1510 to have good performance for a mid-range notebook but performance comes at the expense of battery life.
The Canon Pixma MX850 is a small, versatile multifunction printer suited to a small office looking for a cheap, do-it-all machine. It offers a broad range of features and reasonable document print quality, but don't expect top quality colour prints.
It works well as a GPS navigator but, as a phone, the slow responses and awful text messaging really let the A702 down.
By being very easy to configure and manage, the 3CX Phone System for Windows scores well on functionality and is compatible with most SIP handsets, gateways and services. However scalability could be an issue for larger organisations.
The thoroughly average Fujitsu LifeBook V1010 has a lovely display, solid battery life, and relatively trim weight, but it lacks the features of similarly priced systems. You can get more for your money elsewhere.
Sim2's first foray into the entry level projector space isn't exactly cheap, or for that matter pretty. But the Domino D10 looks great where it really counts.
