The University of Technology, Sydney has signed a new agreement for hardware from networking vendor Alcatel-Lucent as the institution continues to move old Cisco equipment off the premises.
Two of Sydney's largest universities have signalled they will hold back on wide-scale adoption of Microsoft's Windows Vista until the next-generation operating system matures.
The University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) Web site was overloaded with students trying to access exam results on Wednesday, causing the system to break down moments before the results were due to become available.
