Dell has revealed the reasons behind its decision to delay the availability of Linux sold outside the US.

Dell may be forced to sell PCs pre-loaded with Linux distribution Ubuntu internationaly after more than 20,000 people signed a petition on the company's user forum.
Dell desktops loaded with Ubuntu Linux will cost US$50 less than Microsoft Windows-based systems but it is still unclear if and when they will be available in Australia.
