All of the proposed new Australian second-level domains have been rejected by the New Names Advisory Panel.
The .au domain name administrator has confirmed plans to initiate second level domain names for states and territories, a move touted as allowing state or local groups to promote their interests online.
auDA's New Names Advisory Panel has recommended the establishment of new second level domain names based on Australia's states and territories.
