The Linux conference has published its draft programme in true Linux style-with a request for readers to report bugs.
"News for Nerds" Web site Slashdot.org has joined the dark side, lining up with leagues of other Net publishers to start selling larger, more imposing advertisements and placing a premium on commercial-free pages.
Touting itself as the "leading Linux/Open Source destination on the Internet," open-source portal site Andover.net and its properties, including Slashdot.org, have entered the pre-initial public offering "quiet period" mandated by the Securities & Exchange Commission.
