Iomega Corporation has announced the release of its fastest external CD-RW drive to date however, like the Iomega Predator released early last year, it may be a little too fast for the PC industry.
LaCie have announced their new SCSI and Firewire CD_RW-161040 drives, which boast the fastest writing speed of the industry. The 16x record speed helps churn out discs faster, letting users burn an entire 650MB CD-R media in just four minutes (excluding lead-in and lead-out times.
