ecorp, the online arm of Kerry Packer's Publishing & Broadcasting has laid to bed speculation that it's exiting the ninemsn joint venture, calling it nothing more than an "evil rumour".
Despite rumoured tensions, a strict non-termination clause in the contract between Publishing and Broadcasting Limited's (PBL) ecorp and Microsoft may keep an uneasy NineMSN joint venture afloat, ZDNet Australia sources have revealed.
Internet group ecorp remained cash flow positive at the end of the March quarter and had around AU$93.6 million cash in the bank, according to a statement to the ASX.
