Apple Computer on Tuesday unveiled updates to its iBooks laptop and Mac Mini lines, including increased memory and built-in wireless technology.
Addressing a packed crowd of the Mac faithful, Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs on Tuesday served up the first Intel-based Macs, introducing a new high-end laptop and a revamped iMac.

Apple Computer pulled back the curtain on a new generation of its iBook portable today. Apple CEO, Steve Jobs told media and industry analysts that the new machine "takes design cues" from the Titanium PowerBook G4 during a presentation at the Apple campus in California two days ago. Acknowledgng Apples renewed focus on the education market, he went on to tout the new system as a boon to schools.
Aiming to boost its fortunes in the education market, Apple has unveiled the eMac, an all-in-one computer similar to the original iMac, as well as a line of new PowerBooks.
