A source-code analysis of the MySQL database, a popular open-source program at the heart of many Web sites, revealed few bugs compared with the number found in commercial code, testing company Coverity said on Friday.
With a survey estimating that a million Web sites are vulnerable to a set of newly discovered scripting flaws, security experts are predicting that a worm that uses the software bugs to spread could be on the way.
