The Federal Court in Brisbane has banned three men, who conned consumers into paying up to AU$12,500 for race-betting software by marketing it as a low-risk investment program, from selling the software.
Punters will have to wait another six months for the next round of legal action against the promoters of a horserace betting software program, and a recent flurry of online discussion between advocators of the software and those who feel they have been taken for a ride suggests emotions are still running high.
