Telstra has revealed its strategy to retire its ageing private commercial network Austpac in favour of an IP-based network geared to the finance sector.
Another landmark in Australia's history of business online may soon disappear, with strong indications that Austpac -- a precursor to the Internet in Australia -- will be shut down by the end of the year.
