NetRegistry has called on the Australian domain regulator to change its public consultation processes to get more input from domain name purchasers.
Domain name resellers from across the country have come out in support of comments made by NetRegistry CEO Larry Bloch, and auDA board member Joshua Rowe, as the auDA launches a code of practice aimed at the industry.
With the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission bringing an action against a domain name reseller in the Federal Court, the industry has got fired up once more about misleading practices.
"If you own an .australian Web site you need to know who we are," screamed an orange and grey advertisement the nation's domain regulator placed in several newspapers.
