A proposal floated today by Telstra's major competitors to upgrade the nation's broadband infrastructure would see up to six million addresses wired for ADSL2+ broadband -- two million more than Telstra's own plan.
update: A group of Telstra's rivals known as the G9 has formally lodged their proposal for a nationwide fibre broadband network with the competition regulator.
