SuccessFactors has Jetstar success

Software developer SuccessFactors announced yesterday that Jetstar had selected its apps suite to streamline the airline's HR process.

According to Jetstar, the SuccessFactors software gave the airline "greater flexibility and efficiency in managing the needs of its growing staff".

"SuccessFactors has proven industry expertise and, through our partnership with them, we gain a business execution platform that will bring new efficiencies and flexibility," Jetstar chief Bruce Buchanan said in a statement today.

The software will aid in Jetstar's employment functions including recruitment, HR administration, training and staff development, and performance management.

"Since Jetstar started in 2004 with just 400 people, we have grown to become a team of almost 7000 and we're constantly looking at ways that technology can help us work smarter and faster," said Buchanan.
