Hacktivist collective Anonymous has claimed yet another scalp in its online campaign against supporters of SOPA and the Megaupload arrests last week, after Anonymous Morocco hacked a fan site of pop star Rihanna.

"HaXoreD BY Federal," reads the banner of the newly defaced RihannaOnline.net, a site that normally posts news, lyrics and images of singer Rihanna Fenty.

Anonymous Operations this morning on Twitter said that the hack had come from Anonymous Morocco in response to the arrest of Kim Dotcom in New Zealand last week. Dotcom, the founder and head of file-sharing site Megaupload.com was nabbed along with six others on alleged piracy charges.

"http://www.rihannaonline.net defaced by AnonyMous Morocco #Megaupload #Anonymous Expect More," Anonymous tweeted this morning.

The site now bears a battery of propaganda including the handles of the hackers.

One of the hackers told ZDNet Australia in a statement that the hack was meant as an anti-SOPA protest as well as a response to the arrest of Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom.

"I am against the sopa, I'm with megaupload and I admire is the best website [sic]," the hacker told ZDNet Australia under the name Maroc Cybercriminal.

"I'm a member of Team Triple Hack and owner of T34M | M4 | GH0ST [sic]," the hacker said.

The statement, loosely translated from French, added that the hack was "a server breach", which the hacker had accomplished thanks to custom-made script exploits.

The hacker added that this wasn't the end of the hacktivism campaign.

"You will see what will go [sic]," the hacker said. Other sites hit by the Anonymous collective in the #OpMegaupload campaign include the US Department of Justice, Universal Music and the Motion Picture Association of America, which suffered denial-of-service attacks.

Rihanna is no stranger to the nefarious efforts of hackers, after her phone was breached last year. Nude photos allegedly of the pop star were then posted online.
