Get the most out of using Windows Me on your home network with these tips.

As you may know, one of the four major areas of improvements in the Windows Me operating system was in Networking. Microsoft's goal was to make setting up and using a home network as easy as possible; fortunately, they succeeded.

To make setting up a home network a piece of cake, Windows Me provides you with the Home Networking Wizard. After you've fitted your computers with network cards and connected the network cables, the Home Networking Wizard guides you through the process of setting up shared resources, such as drives, folders, printers, and even an Internet connection among all the computers in your home.

Furthermore, the Home Networking Wizard can create a Home Networking Setup disk for enabling Home Networking on Windows 95 and 98 computers. The whole procedure is so simple that anyone with little or basic computing knowledge can network in no time. However, even though Home Networking Wizard makes configuring your home network a snap, there are some tricks that you'll just have to learn on your own. In this article, I'll pass on some tips that will help you get the most out of using Windows Me on your home network.
