Screensavers that lead you into the unknown

Looking for an escape when you take your next break? Here's three new screensavers that let you explore an underwater coral reef, outer space, and an animated world.

Although screensavers are technically no longer necessary to preserve your monitor, they are still a great way to express individuality at work or home and can be a nice diversion when you take a break.

After a while, though, most people get bored of whichever one they're using. So even if you've got a good screensaver now, you may want to check out my latest collection to give your computer a fresh look.

DiveVisions displays a beautifully animated reef through the eyes of a scuba diver. Explore the underwater world and see whales, sharks, shipwrecks, eels, and other great-looking 3-D rendered sea life. (Shareware/Windows)

The Space Travel Screensaver takes you on a journey through our solar system, starting with our moon, passing by Mars and Jupiter, and finally ending with Saturn. As a word of warning, people with older systems have reported choppy graphics when running this one, but it should run fine on newer systems. (Free/Windows)

DTgrafic Bus Stop shows you animated characters as they go about their daily lives on a crowded street. This cute screensaver also offers some interactivity; click on people and objects, and you'll hear a person speak, cars honk, and so on. (Shareware/Windows)
