Wow, what a useless review. Who in their right mind decides to test a virtualisation product on a machine with less than 1GB of RAM?
Where is there any talk about it's capabilities such as machine workload management, number of CPU cores supported, performance rating with several VM's running, or anything else of use. From what i can see, this "review' is based on nothing other than the install sequence.

The good:
  • Doesn't require a host OS
  • Potential Performance improvements where it doesn’t run on top of a host or native Operating System
  • Affordable and easy to deploy
The bad:
  • Not as polished as VMWare or Microsoft's products
  • May be compatibility issues with older systems
  • Requires a reasonable amount of technical expertise to setup
The bottomline:

XenServer 3.2 isn't quite as refined as other virtualisation products from VMware and Microsoft but its still worth taking a closer look at especially in the performance benefits that may be gained.

Editors’ rating:

6.5/10

RRP: AU$117.00
