we never new that when we buy this system we get into a money sucker company. only after you buy the system, you learn that every update or report you need to do or see, you have to log in to Fonality.com. they force you to go through their site, this way you have to keep paying for support, which teach them of their own problems. we are just a tool in their hands. they keep doing updates to the system which cause down time in our call center. then some of their tech admit it, and in some cases it takes few months to fix the problem, until they develop something new.
we called so many trouble tickets which many were never solved. once we cancelled our support, which they had to stop updating our server with "new updates", the system was more stable. last week they did an update that messed up all our queues and voice mails. they refuse to fix because we do not pay for support now. what a nice trick. my recommendation is to stay a way as far as possible from this company

The appliance is HIGHLY overrated. We got CE loaded on it and when it arrived it came with no documentation or instructions; we didn't even know the root password. The appliance was not completely setup and we had to contact the company that we bought the appliance from so we could get instructions for setting up the appliance. They simply told me that we didn't have a support agreement with them so they couldn't help us. Also, part of the appliance came shipped with sandwich bags over them. Highly unprofessional!
The good: Has a good display showing the Trixbox version, uptime, lan and wan.
The bad: Overpriced, no instructions, no setup assistance, no reinstall cd's. All you get is a box that has a built in phone card.. and the drivers aren't even installed on it.

After first experiencing a %u201Cdo it yourself%u201D VoIP solution and suffering call drop-outs, system crashes and poor voice quality %u2013 we called in Fonality (Insightful Solutions) and switched to trixbox Pro (http://www.insightful.com.au/trixbox/), which is a business-grade phone system that is relatively new to the Australian market.
We have found that it is an all-in-one solution at a good price with the support we need. It allows our 30 staff to make free phone VoIP calls.
The implementation was brilliant %u2013 very quick and simple as we were guided all the way by Fonality staff.
Now we are benefiting from a higher quality and more reliable VoIP system. We waste less time on drop-outs and the voice quality gives our people the confidence to talk more on the phones.
The system will pay for itself within the first three months and has resulted in increased productivity and flexibility for staff. Keeping track of calls both incoming and outgoing is a big plus, as is the ability to easily create conference calls and record conversations when necessary.
Finally we have a VoIP system that reflects the quality of our own service.
