Did you test the performance after the NAS *finish* its RAID building? The performance data seems quite different with what we saw in other review.

Overview

The good:
  • Small unobtrusive form factor
  • Great features and functionality
  • Quiet in operation
  • Very simple to migrate up RAID levels
  • Value for money
The bad:
  • Extensive menu system mean finding some options is difficult
  • Slow data transfer rate
The bottomline:

The TS-409 is a robust, reasonably quick and well priced NAS that suites SOHO marketplace.

Editors’ rating:

7.2/10

RRP: AU$799.00
