Reviewer obviously has little knowledge of storage and has not really got any idea how the EVA works

I have had an EVA4400 unit in my data center for 6 months, it has been the direct cause of 5 major outages. I/O lockups, controller failures, 7 drive failures to date. So bad that HP has agreed to take the unit back and replace it with an EVA6400. Guarantee: You will regret owning the 4400. I will let you know on the 6400. PS. I have a CX300, EVA5000 and 2 IBM DS4800's - all trouble free.

    The good: None.

The bad: High Drive failure rates. Random lockups. Random Hardware failures. Still in Beta code revisions.
