I just got my projector and I am pretty happy. Whilst I had read about the need to turn the lights off I had somehow chosen to ignore that thinking it probably wasn't going to be a problem. But sure does struggle in daylight, especially if you are projecting darker images.
I use it primarily with a netbook at is doing a fantastic job with powerpoint slides.
I don't understand the comments about the unit getting hot. I have had mine running for 2-3 hours and whilst it was warm, it wasn't uncomfortable. Also, the powerbrick is really thin - only about 1/3 of the one I have for my Dell laptop. It is a shame I have to carry two bricks, but then again with the netbook and the projector both being so tiny I really doesn't matter.
The good: Cute and cuddly. You'll get heaps of comments. So tiny and lightweight.
The bad: Requires a dark room (or use slides with whitebackground and dark text!) Menu buttons are a little tricky.
