This UPS has an unpainted steel chassis with a black, plastic faceplate-clearly it is intended purely as a rack-mounted device. Unlike the other machines reviewed here, this is a line-interactive model. Electronics and battery module are used to trim or boost the mains power as required rather than totally isolating mains power from the load. The supply is filtered just as with true online devices. The LED indicators mark battery level, use, and need for replacement as well as overload and supply status. This weighty 3RU device has eight 10A output sockets that are supplemented by a single 16A socket. The manual is multilingual, so don't be afraid of its thickness!
