Question:
Can I fit an external antenna to the Tlstra turbo 7 to enable use in areas where the normal network signal is weak.
Caravanners. Dont believe the hype about travelling and connecting to the Next G network. Its pretty much hit and miss. Even if your Telstra phone works the modem doesn't
The good: When it works its good and fairly fast even in rural areas.
The bad: Fussy about antenna connections so once you get it working don't detach the antennas when you travel.

Good excuse for telstra not to bother installing more ADSL ports at the local exchange but it doesn't allow VOIP
The good: the easiest setup I have ever seen no wires...wife loves that
The bad: drop outs/line congestion COST of wireless internet plans is ridiculous but you expect that from Telstra
