Manufacturer: Belkin
Used as a print server for two printers it works perfectly using windows xp firewall but try to use it with AVG 8, no joy whatsoever. Set up on two networked computers the hub finds everything I throw at it but it won't let them work. Neither Belkin or AVG give any information on how to set it up, Belkin have not got AVG firewall as an example and AVG seem to have more pressing issues than a print server that doesn't work. At the moment, when I need to print I have to disable AVG and enable Windows firewall, not very satisfactory.
The good: When it works it works well
The bad: When it doesn't work it's just a pretty ornament.
Used with both XP and vista based computers with external disk drives and epson printer.
The good: Generally functions well. Simple way of sharing.
The bad: Firewalls can be troublesome, especially AVG.
does not work properly. with XP worked initially, then stopped. With Vista - worked after I rang support and they made me switch off wireless and swap LAN cables. then it stopped again. Gonna take it back to the shop.
great product, I have Vista on my laptop and no problems operating either of my printers, the scanner is a bit slow, but it does all I want.
The Belkin Network USB Hub provides a simple way for multiple users to share USB devices wirelessly. It's a must for any multiuser household.

Bought this along with a Belkin N1 router. The thing just doesn't work - the printer appears in the hub control panel (both via the application and on the web control panel) but every print job simply fails. On a laptop with vista the hub device isn't detected but on a laptop with XP it does. Firmware updated and the new application downloaded, still no results.
The good: Nifty concept - would be indispensable for every wireless home/office
The bad: Doesn't work.
