I got the prepaid 4 $200 & got a new nextG sim card -postpaid- to upgrade from GSM in order to improve reception. After changing the background & ringtone, it shut down. 3 weeks later I got it back. Telstra branded stuff is useless 2 me. In the end it gets better reception than previous Nokia so it'll do 4 now.
The good: Reception in country WA is much better than GSM. Everyone oooohs at the chrome finish & LED display. Tell them its a pacemaker. Menu system easy 2 navigate. Buttons very easy to operate. Camera quality is good, when I can hold it really still.
The bad: Battery life is rubbish. Telstra baggage, which cannot be changed (e.g. shortcut keys) Sony software to connect to laptop with bluetooth simply won't. GPRS has been up to 50km out in country WA.

I have used the Z750i since March 2008 and I can say one thing "It's a dog". Poor coverage, won't receive some calls, cuts out and not compatible with bluetooth in my new holden
I have had it in for warranty twice, next warranty it will be replaced. By then my patience will have run out.
The good: Color
The bad: Unreliable and it feels like a brick compared to the basic Samsung A701
