how can i start my front camera in sonyericsson p1i
P910?? though its good,,, it sucks now!!!! the keypad is broken (P 3000 value), the touch screen is broken ( 1200 value)
though with P1... I guess,,, nothing but perfect,,,, Xperia is somewhat ok but the 65 K color and the hideous sliding keypad! (sorry,, Ijust find it ugly) so it leads me to P1!!
with nokia phones,,, I fairly like it for about 20 minutes,,, but after a couple of minutes,,, Im just bored..... :-)
The good: 1. form factor -design,, and the back side is great 2. keypad - am I weird?? I just like it 3. the phone itself (all software) 4. camera
The bad: Im not into connectivity or what so ever so Iguess,,, if the name "P1i" and "sonyericsson "have light,,, its better!!!
had a P900 and loved it.. The P900 synced with Lotus Organizer, but this new phone doesn't which sucks... still, the phone on it's own is extremely capable. Not a bad choice at all, although once the HTC Diamond and other phones come into the market, the door will be wide open
To the user that complained that he can't switch to the calendar, yes of course you can. The UI is kludgy by default, but if you play with it a little, it is customisable to almost exactly how you would like it set up...
I've set the button on the right to switch to main menu, so in a call, i simply press the @ button and tap calendar...
The good: ridiculously wide functionality... i would have been over the moon if it would continue to sync both ways with LO, but even so I'm quite pleased with it now (now that I got WinFonie to do the sync)
The bad: very kludgy and feature rich interface takes loads of time to work out. CANNOT UNDERSTAND why there aren't send/end keys ... 26 keys on the pad, and no send/end... stupid stupid stupid
as an update to my inability to sync my calendar with Lotus Organizer, I finally happened on XTNDConnect from Sybase iAnyWhere ...that, Opera Mini, Gmail / IMAP and WalkMan3 has made this into a very nice phone indeed
The bad: Still UNFORGIVABLE that SE ditched the 5-way jog-dial
I loved my P800, but the P1i runs like a dog. There is always a lag going from one thing to another, and often when scrolling a simple web page. Despite 5 or 6 efforts, I've yet to make it work with Gmail.
The good: form. Outlook sync.
The bad: slow. unresponsive. hard to configure. difficult to understand settings. wi-fi has never worked the way it should.

I had a SE P910i and upgraded to the SE P1i. I experience the following problems with this phone:
1.) I cannot set ringtones per caller group ... So what is the use of a caller group then?
2.) when in a call I cannot go to my calender and thus cannot make entries or browse the calender
With the P910i I can do all the above. In my view the P910i was a better phone ... Believe me. I use a phone to it's fullest extent and buy it for it's features and functionality. Buying this phone was a big mistake for me!
The good: same as previous models in P range ...
The bad: The above which limits the usability and available features
