1 2 oh please! This is great for "People who buy business phones to 'wipe off the smirks of iphone and blackberry users'". Get a life!
I owned 3 previous Treo models and currently use a HTC. Worst phones ever. I won't buy a fourth user interface from Palm in the hope it has improved the somewhat unintuitive interface. And the HTC is even worse in battery life; garnished with an unresponsive wannabe touch screen. good luck!
The good: professional use possible looks 'expensive and important'
The bad: connectivity issues with Battery life small screen nobbly keys interface usability expensive
I have had nothing but problems with mine. Connectivity, freezing up, the soft reset is getting worn out as it is the only way to get sense out of it. Contacts will display once and then have to be accessed through the "phone".
Email, well just dont bother.

The good: Better than the imate it replaced which was even worse
I am on to my third palm treo as the first 2 brand new out of a box did not last 24 hours in standy mode. Aeroplane mode on with everything else off not even 24 hours. When I rang palm help desk they say they are not aware of battery issues. Specifications state 250 hours standby. Am I just the unlucky to land the only two with which last less than 24 hours?
The bad: Poor battery life. Have not had chance to put data as having to do soft and hard resets.
Its funny reading reviews on phones, PDA's etc because its usually those having issues that comment, and many of those are questionable.
For the Pro, I have had nothing but joy and it has been a great, handy phone and PDA with no problems at all. I get quite decent battery life, and yes, if you dick around with it all day and have every function running of course it will run flat quick.
I have read lots of reviews on this phone and can't stand the same old complaints about "fingerprint magnet" blah blah.....come on, you find any shiny black phone that's not a fingerprint magnet!
From a user who reads the manual and uses it as intended......magic.
(Oh, and notice negative comments rarely have names against them......)
The good: Everything. Read the manual, use it as designed and it'll do everything it promises.
The bad: Had a little trouble with x64 Vista support, but do a quick Google and you're away :)

Will an imported unlocked Treo Pro work here in Australia? Anyone using an unlocked USA model here in Aus?
Also does anyone know if the Tom Tom navigator software will work with the Treo Pro.

I think the big advantage is that if you have the infrastructure set up, accessing email remotely is much cheaper (Telstra now have $10 for 150MB/month) on a WM device like Treo, than the $50/month for a Blackberry!
Also the complaint about "The battery life could be better" seems misplaced. It is rare to have a WM device that lasts more than 1.5days! So 2days from the solid 1500Mah battery is great! The HTC Diamond only has a 900Mah battery and would be lucky to get through 1day!
