I have just tested N82 for some of the internal features it supports. A-GPS and orientation sensor work fine. GPS on battery life is significantly better.

The good: A mass market GPS , camera all in one product. We could get our duress and location tracking product work on n82. For details look on www.phantomeye.com

The bad: The telcos let us down with A-GPS in Australia

Great set of features, giving you anything you'd want in a mobile. Unfortunately shocking battery life! Medium amount of voice calls without even using any of it's many features will drain the battery in less than a day! My old N73 lasted at least 3 days on the same volume of calls. Buyer beware...

The good: Kick arse camera, GPS, Wifi, etc etc

The bad: Ridiculous, awful, pathetic battery life, get your act together Nokia!

Just wondering doe's the N82 have the same battery has the N73

The good:
  • Best camera phone to date
  • Excellent connectivity includes HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS
  • 3.5mm headphone port
  • Side-loaded MicroSD card reader and bundled 2GB card
The bad:
  • Ridiculously tiny keypad
  • Chunky candy-bar form factor
  • Poor battery life
The bottomline:

The N82's top-line features are offset by less-than-ideal design and poor battery life. We hate to sound like an Australian Idol judge, but while the N82 has all the bells and whistles of other class leading smartphones, it the lacks the X-factor needed to make it a real stand out.

Editors’ rating:

7.7/10

RRP: AU$959.00
