I imported this phone to australia from the UK because I fell in love with it... and I still love it!!!!It's nothing short of brilliant. Elegant looks, great touchscreen, excellent music player. I even tried an 8GB microSD card in it and it works fine, so it's going to become my main music player! Camera is also great, and those little added functions like document viewer, calendar etc are making my life easier!
    Drawbacks are:
    1) no profile that allows to silence the phone at night but keep the morning alarm ringing
    2) only 5 inputs in the memo!!!!
    3) it needs a cable for radio listening. that means, if you want to use your A2DP for music listening and answering calls, you will have to give the radio up
    4) it comes with some factory glitches: the google preloaded homepage in german (!!!) and the google maps that won't launch in the preloaded version.
    5) AND, MAINLY... the technical support team is shockingly unhelpful... despite these being software issues!!! so if something goes wrong.... good luck!!!!

I have been a Nokia fan till i came across this phone. Have had other phones and love this one. The interface is easy to use and i think the handwriting box is the best.
I've used the video software on the phone and am stoked to show these off to friends.

The good: Easy Camera loading, Writing box for text, calendar etc. Muvee function. Web browsing!

The bad: Cant get emergency phone charger that you put AA batteries into. Have to remove battery to access SD card

Well , we bought 2 of these Viewty phones out right and unlocked for our optus service and can not speak more highly of this fantastic phone the lay out is great , the ease of use is unbelievable, so far our battery use is great , we get upto 4 days , display is superb. mp3 ring tones make it very loud when set as a ring tone.so over all even when using some of the applications in this phone , we would rate it 8 out of 10...

My Viewty is refusing to send any text but receives texts fine.
The texts I send stay in the outbox, and also appear in the Drafts folder.
Otherwise the phone is working fine.

I must say, although the Viewty is a brick of a phone, it's durability completely makes up for this.

The good: Tonight I dropped the viewty in the mosh pit of the presets concert. Somehow (I still have no idea how) the phone managed to survive and I found it lying on the ground afterwards. After being dropped countless amounts of times it still functions perfectly.
