I got my Storm from Vodafone yesterday and I have only just starting getting my head around all the functions. It not easy to use but is action packed. I have migrated from a Nokia N95 and this phone trickier to use than most and I am a techno nut.
The good: The touchscreen is generally good and very clear. Google maps is excellent and does accurate mapping compared to N95 gps.
The bad: There is no user guide supplied. It's unbelievable that such a clever phone only gets a basic booklet. The touch screen is rather clunky, once you find what you need to press the screen and that is not a simple operation. Also it is not always accurate if you have anything but skinny fingers. I use this phone for email and there is no simple method to silence or disable message "after hours" other than switching the phone off. Ideally it should have a split timer to be able to receive calls normally and have a silent mode while sleeping. Hopefully this will be in a firmware upgrade one day. Also the case supplied is basically useless, unless all you are doing is storing it away.
If Vodafone knew how to service customers that want to use the Storm it may be a good product.
I received my Storm in mid December 2008 and posted it back to the CEO of Vodafone Australia today because his support staff could not connect me to their service for over a month.
It's a shame that what may be a good product is ruined by a sub standard service provider!
The good: Small and compact Stylish design
The bad: Exclusive service provider rights through Vodafone.
what a heap of @@#4%(* - I bought one 10 days ago and I find it one of the most clunky, non-intuitive and over pitched bits of technology I have ever wasted my hard earned bucks on - Anyone like to buy a brand new unlocked storm?

it is a awesome piece, my girlfriend use a smartphone, anything i sent to her, from any things, i got a chance to look, it received beautifully. other features i yet to play.
The good: very sweal piece, like a small pc, just powerful, it is indeed a smartphone.
The bad: slightly large heavy. relative to even normal simple piece.
