For the price, this phone is great. The review above talks about "kids"; that's not my impression: "Kids" want cooler looking phones, clamshells or flashy colours, this is a phone for adults that focus on the web, and running various JAVA-applications. I use my phone as a mobile modem.

The good: It is a great phone for data traffic. I connect it to my laptop, to reach the internet wherever I go. Good and distinct keypad, the best from SE since W200i. (I like keypads I can use with thin gloves at work).

The bad: E-mail client is somewhat limited, as is common among mobiles. Sony Ericsson has no clear vision when it comes keyboards, each time you buy a new SE you have to learn from scratch what the keys do. Camera has no autofocus or flash/light.

When I use this K660i as a modem, I only got 460,8KBPS for HSDPA connection.
In the technical spec it says 3.6MBPS.

Can any one please help me to discover this out?

Bought this nice thing some weeks ago for about 130%u20AC including shipping. Why did i buy this phone? I don't like any other brands in this cheap-to-midrange sector, cause they are either not well manufactured or don't have the features i want. A great bonus for this one is that you actually don't need to install ANY software or driver to use this phone on your pc. plugged in via usb you can chose from several profiles like mass storage or phone mode. in phone mode it gets recognized by any OS (including Linux, BSD and OS X) as an USB ethernet device, that's assigned an ip via DHCP. The phone then acts as transparent gateway to the internet and unlike other models it charges its battery while in use as a modem. Haven't seen such an easy setup on another brands phone yet. And of course HSDPA on a device that cheap is just perfect for me.
If only SE worked on the software a bit more. it has quite some bugs, that are annoying, but luckily not a real disturbance.

The good: Charges while on USB Driverless usage on pc long battery life cheap

    The bad: software bugs
