91 minutes battery life in battery eater is rather disappointing, considering that dell quoted a 19 hour all day battery life.

I ordered mine 8/14 and hope to receive it soon.

Dell quotes up to 9 hrs with just the 9 cell.
91 min. at first sounds disappointing but
1.The test was with and lcd screen not LED.
(LED on the brightest uses less power than lcd on lowest)
    2. playing a video off the HD would increase battery life.
    3. The processor Pxxx (higher spec) uses less power than Txxx
of course I would use a power saving mode (disable bluetooth, wi-fi) while playing a movie to optimize battery life.
I'm sure it can get 4hrs of video if configured right.

The good: LED screen. thinner and less power USB powershare e-sata back lit keybaord centrino 2 GPS from the "MBB card" after registry edit(without paying monthly) Contactless SC reader(I can use my key fob from work)

    The bad: ???

The 19 hour battery life is if you include a 12 cell battery slice, don't assume out of the box you will get 19 hours...

So far, I have to give this PC a bad review. I bought it new, and the motherboard died in less than 2 minutes of use. Hopefully this is not a problem across the board.

    The good: Good looking.

    The bad: Almost DOA

I have a question. I am considering purchasing the E6500 and wonder is it really just 5.2 lbs (2.3kg) or does it turn out to be heavier upon arrival?

Although a good laptop and a very nice , sharp and bright screen the battery life is a major dissapointment. During my normal use (browsing, Outlook and Visual Studio) I only get 2,5 hours. No wifi or bluetooth enabled.

The good: sharp and bright screen, sturdy.

    The bad: Poor battery life

Hate this laptop! I had an older Latitude Model with no problems. THis one has been "possessed" -- settings change for no reason -- I have spent more time troubleshooting this than using it. So sorry I bought this.

    The good: None

The bad: Too many to mention ....
