This is a rating of the review. I am an Apple fan and even I have to say Is it really fair to place the Dell Adamo up against the Macbooks??

Given the specs of the Adamo it is not a similar computer at all. If you was doing a review of the Macbook Air different story but as it having the Adamo specs in there is rather pointless.

I want to see how the Macbooks stack up against full featured Dells.

The good:
  • Price cut from previous version
  • New SD card slot
  • Keeps the same solid unibody construction and oversize trackpad
The bad:
  • Loses the ExpressCard slot
  • Switching GPUs not as seamless as it should be
The bottomline:

Apple's 15-inch MacBook Pro makes only minor tweaks to the previous version, but cutting prices and swapping the ExpressCard slot for an SD card slot are enough to make it a solid improvement over its predecessor.
