Inspired by the pricey cars that make many weak at the knees, Acer's Ferrari 4000 Series notebooks feature red trim and the Ferrari logo. There are three models:
Priced at AU$2,799, AU$2,999 and AU$3,999 respectively, all models feature a 15.4-inch widescreen LCD, Bluetooth, 5-in-1 memory card reader and up to 3.5 hours of battery life.
All models weigh in at 2.86kg and boast four USB ports and a DVD-Super Multi Dual Layer Drive.
The Ferrari badge is prominently displayed on the shell of the laptop.
A coordinated Bluetooth mouse is included in the price of each notebook.
In addition to four USB ports, the Ferrari 4000 notebooks are fitted with infrared, FireWire and S-Video connections.
The matching notebook and mouse have a distinctive look inspired by Scuderia Ferrari race cars.
The 1280 by 800 pixel CrystalBrite LCD can be kept smudge-free with an included (and colour coordinated) LCD cloth.
