Step 6: Configure your RAID array

Now it's time to select and configure a RAID array. With the Adaptec 1210SA, restart the system and repeatedly tap Ctrl+A as the system boots to bring up the drive controller's configuration software. Choose Array Configuration Utility > Create Array and use the Insert key to select each of the two drives you installed. Then choose your array type -- 0, in our case. Accept the defaults for the remaining values and choose Done. Then exit the utility and let the system boot.
