No this monitor has excellent ...Chris Fernando -- 13/10/08

No this monitor has excellent performance over the PS3 ans the blacks can adjusted with Video output format: RGB and RGB full range: full. http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1315565

The good: cheapish price for 24". awesome contrast and response time as well as being able to display 16:9( 1:1 mapping or aspect scaling) content without any stretching.

The bad: not so brilliant viewing angles, common to all TN panels.

Overview

The good:
  • Decent quality image
  • Great resolution and size for an affordable price
  • Distinct style
The bad:
  • DVI and HDMI cables not included
  • No height or swivel adjustment
  • Menu buttons are a bit unwieldy to use
  • Poor PlayStation 3 performance over HDMI
The bottomline:

BenQ's V2400W is a great way to get a higher resolution at a cheap price, although some of the usual extras are left out along the way.
