Psion Series 7
The Psion Series 7 is a capable, stylish, and well-connected PDA for the jet set. Measuring 3.8 x 23 x 18 cms (HWD) and weighing 79 grams, the Series 7 is a joy to carry. Inside the case is a 19.5 cm diagonal STN backlit VGA colour touch-screen display and a 17-mm-pitch keyboard. Based on a 132.71-MHz Intel StrongArm 1100 CPU, it comes with 16MB of memory and has an OS Mask ROM module (RAM and ROM are both user-upgradable). The built-in CompactFlash Type II slot and Type II PC Card slot let you add more storage or peripherals such as modems. You can also connect via modems or mobile phones using serial and infrared ports. The standard internal rechargeable lithium ion battery is rated to last for 8.5 hours of typical use between charges (recharging takes 90 minutes).
