Hitachi CP-X970W LCD Data Projector September 03, 2001 URL: http://www.zdnet.com.au/reviews/coolgear/electronics/soa/Hitachi-CP-X970W-LCD-Data-Projector/0,139023382,120204789,00.htm
Hitachi has introduced a new line of LCD data projectors as a lightweight alternative to the customary cumbersome projector. Weighing in at only 5.9 kg, the CP-X9700W can easily be moved around for use in offices or boardrooms where high ambient light is a problem. It's rated at 2200 ANSI Lumens from a 190W UHB long-life lamp which helps to darken the room. The three-lens LCD panel system used in the CP-X9700W features 786,432 pixels giving it a true XGA resolution of 1024 by 768 for projecting fine detail in complex Web and graphics applications as well as a high 200:1 contrast ratio. When reproducing lower resolution images, the projector automatically fine resizes to prevent loss of important peripheral data. Its other features include Digital Keystone correction for correcting the -bending" of images when projected off-plane and digital zoom and a freeze frame feature for magnifying picture portions and maintaining image on screen while swapping inputs. A wide number of inputs and outputs are also available to enhance functionality. For instance two PCs can be connected, an external monitor can be attached, as well as a video input and serial and USB terminal for mouse connection. There is also a unique picture in picture feature that enables simultaneous display on screeen of video images in a sub-window of a PC-image. CP-X970W LCD Data Projector
