Palm IIIc

Price: $729
Memory: 8MB. OS: Palm (v3.5.0)
Company: Palm Australia.
Ph: 1300 360 558

Palm IIIc The Palm IIIc is functionally identical to the IIIxe except that the monochrome screen has been replaced by a rich colour display; the contrast control has been replaced by an on-screen brightness control; and the AAA batteries have been replaced by an in-built Li-Ion battery pack.

Weight has gone up accordingly, taking the IIIc up over 212 grams, but that (and an extra $180) is the price you pay for colour. There are many applications that take advantage of the colour screen, especially in the games area.

For the sake of an organiser, unless you are using a specific application that requires colour, or you want to keep up with the Joneses, you are probably better off with a IIIxe.
