Video: Chasing Ballmer around Sydney

video Where's Ballmer? In this video, ZDNet.com.au journalist Liam Tung chases Steve Ballmer around the streets of Sydney during the Microsoft CEO's recent trip Down Under.

In order to watch video content you need to enable javascript and install Flash player version 8 or above.

Along the way Tung tangles with Microsoft and Telstra security, catches Ballmer and Telstra CEO Sol Trujillo discussing their plans for world domination, and finds out that people attending a Ballmer speech at a developer event in Darling Harbour mainly just want to see the Microsoft CEO dance and scream "developers, developers, DEVELOPERS!".

This video is the first in a new series of ZDNet.com.au videos. Dubbed "Ratbags", the series will be produced more or less monthly and take a lighthearted and satirical look at the Australian technology scene.

This is crap. Kept expecting it to pick up, but just shows some dude waiting around like a bozo, trying to create some sensation.

Waste of time. Sensational headline, trying to get people to watch.

This is CRAP. Save yourself 10 mins of your life.

    Great presentation Anonymous -- 15/11/08

Great job from Liam. Just a shame Ballmer was a damp squib - not often a charge you can level at monkey boy.

    AWESOME!!! Dan Warne -- 18/11/08

Totally hilarious Liam :-) Great idea. I think people who were expecting the equivalent of The Chaser are asking a bit much -- that stuff gets you thrown in jail! And last time they went to Telstra Investor Day they didn't get past security -- at least you got in! ;-) Personally, I didn't get an invite. I think I've asked too many hard questions in the past.
