Superannuation guru appointed KAZ Business Services CIO

Tony Gold, KAZ Business Services CIO Telstra's KAZ subsidiary has appointed superannuation veteran Tony Gold to a newly created chief information officer role in its business services division.

The executive has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry, having held leadership roles with financial services group Financial Synergy and the nation's largest superannuation administrator, Superpartners, according to a statement issued by KAZ.

Prior to joining KAZ, Gold was executive manager of IT at Superpartners.

At KAZ Business Services, Gold will focus on the company's superannuation administration business, Australian Administration Services (AAS) -- with particular focus on its new software platform Atune.

"The arrival of Tony Gold will bolster AAS' capability to deliver the developments our clients need, starting initially with the rollout of Atune for corporate fund administration.

"This has been developed in partnership with REST [super fund] to manage defined contribution, defined benefit and hybrid funds all on the same system, that is now ready for wider distribution," the company said.
