update The Western Australian Department of Education (DET) has signed a contract with ASG to provide support for its ERP applications.
ASG will provide application support service for DET's PeopleSoft (HR/Payroll) and Oracle (Financial) systems.
"The application [support] ensures that staff are paid on time whilst accommodating the complex and numerous awards that exist within the department," said Peter McCaffrey, DET deputy director of General Finance and Administration.
The deal follows other recent ASG wins in managed services, including Victoria's Metropolitan Ambulance Service and Qantas.
ASG's contract with DET is for 12 months with the possibility of further extensions, according to a spokesperson from the services company.
