in brief Respiratory disorder equipment manufacturer ResMed has extended its local rollout of Objective electronic content management (ECM) software globally, it was revealed yesterday.

"An Objective customer for more than six years, ResMed has upgraded its existing solution to the latest software release, Objective 7, and extended its use to more than 800 users as a seamless ECM solution across all global manufacturing sites," a statement issued by the vendor said.

ResMed's vice president of quality assurance and regulatory affairs, Lionel King, said the ECM implementation was considered a mission-critical system that underpinned the company's entire unstructured information requirements.

"It enables continual improvements in the development of our products, it automates and streamlines business processes, and supports our compliance obligation with stringent international regulatory requirements," he said in Objective's statement.
