Now NEHTA CIO leaves

in brief Australia's peak e-health group, the National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA), has lost yet another senior executive, with the recent departure of chief information officer Mark Gibson.

A NEHTA spokesperson confirmed the departure this morning, saying it was for personal reasons. Gibson's LinkedIn profile still lists his NEHTA position, described interchangeably as chief technology officer, as current. The spokesperson said they could not confirm if the job would be advertised.

The news comes as NEHTA has recently lost its CFO Sally Pearce and had changes in two other positions: chair and CEO. The group's new CEO Peter Fleming started this week.
