NetSuite's half-price sale targets Salesforce

in brief NetSuite has begun an aggressive drive to capture current Salesforce.com customers, guaranteeing its CRM product for half the price they are currently paying for the incumbent product.

The NetSuite "RenewForce" Program, following an initiative from the company's US headquarters, will only be in place for a limited time to current Salesforce.com customers "in good standing".

According to a spokesperson for the company, whether a customer had received a good deal or not on their current stand-alone sales force automation product from Salesforce.com, NetSuite would still be lowering the price for its NetSuite CRM+ product to 50 per cent that what the customer was currently paying. They admitted that this could lead to some items being sold for less than cost.

"RenewForce ends the age of being forced to pay up to $200 per-user-per-month for basic contact management and SFA," Johnny Jones, VP international sales for NetSuite said in a statement.
